Q:   Has MCC reduced NEET PG 2025 cutoff?
A: 

Yes. MCC has reduced NEET PG 2025 cutoff percentile as well as score for each category. NEET PG 2025 percentile has bene reduced by 7th percentile for general category and 0th percentile for SC/ST category. For general category revised cutoff score is 103.

Q:   Who releases the list of centres for NEET PG?
A: 

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases the list of centres for NEET PG. Candidates have to choose a preference of the exam centre while applying online for the exam. NBE will allot the exact name and address with the admit card. Candidates will have to download the admit card once the exam-conducting body activates the link online. 

Q:   What is NEET PG 2025 cut off score for SC/ST category?
A: 

NEET PG 2025 cut off has been reduced in comparision to last few year cut off. The cut off is the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam in that particular caregory. Only candidates who score the minimum marks can participate in seat allocation process. The table given below contains the cut off for each category:

Q:   Which are the institutes that do not accept NEET PG scores for admission?
A: 

15 AIIMS including AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER, Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, SGPGI Lucknow, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum do not accept NEET PG scores. A separate exam is conducted for admission at these institutes, i.e INI CET. The exam is conducted twice in a year in computer-based mode.

KGMU Branch-Wise Cutoff 2023: First and Last Round Closing Ranks

King George's Medical University accepts NEET PG scores, followed by a counselling round for admitting students to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. As per the NEET PG 2023 last-round cutoff, the most desirable course among the students belonging to the General AI quota was MD in Radiodiagnosis. The course's first and last-round closing ranks stood at 225 and 421, respectively. Candidates who were not eligible for Radiodiagnosis and want to get KGMU irrespective of the course choice can also choose the least in-demand courses such as Community Medicine and Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. Yes, the NEET PG exam is tough. The exam is designed to test the knowledge of MBBS graduates in 19 subjects. Moreover, the number of seats are limited.

Yes, NEET PG city intimation slip was released on August 11, 2026. Candidates can check the city intimation slip through login portal. They can know the exam city name through the NEET PG city intimation slip.

According to the past year data, the last round NEET PG closing rank for MD/MS admission at IUL Lucknow ranged between 4097 and 7174 in the year 2025. The most difficult branch to get admission to was MS Ophthalmology and the most-the easiest one was MS in ENT.

Yes, for postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS, colleges accept NEET PG scores. For super-specialty courses, NEET SS is required. MBBS admission, however, is based only on NEET UG.

No. NEET-PG is mandatory for all MD admissions in India across all colleges, government, private, deemed, and central institutions. There is no alternative entrance exam or direct admission route for MD. Even foreign nationals of Indian origin need to qualify in the relevant entrance process.
