DCECE 2026 Counselling and Admission

The DCECE counselling 2026 is currently ongoing. The counselling is being held for Bihar Polytechnic colleges for admission to polytechnic engineering programmes. The conducting authority, BCECE have already announced DCECE 2026 Round 1 and 2 Seat Allotment Result. Overall, the counselling will be held for two regular rounds with one mop-up round counselling. The candidate's selection is done based on the rank obtained in the DCECE Bihar Polytechnic Result 2026.

How to retrieve forgotten DCECE Password?

To recover, select “forgot password” by going to the DCECE counselling 2026 portal. Now select any one of the following options:

  • Using an OTP, sent via text message to your registered mobile number

  • Using a resent link, sent via email to your registered email ID

How to retrieve DCECE Application Number or User ID?

Candidates can check process below on how to recover DCECE application number:

  • Go to counselling portal and select “Forgot Application Number” option

  • Then enter the following details: candidate name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, and security pin.

  • After submitting, the detail will be sent to the registered contact number

BCEB has released the DCECE 2026 round 1 and 2 cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks. Qualified candidates are eligible for the counselling.

  • The UR opening rank for B.K.N.S.G.P. GOPALGANJ Civil Engineering was 2236, and closing rank was 7280

The authorities have released DCECE 2026 admit card on its official website. Only registered candidates can download their hall ticket using their login credentials. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board had released DCECE 2026 exam centres along with official notification. Q:   Can I apply for more than one course group in DCECE?
A: 

Candidates can apply for any one course group, or any two or all course groups as per their eligibility. Candidates who have passed/appearing in the class 10 exam in 2025/2026 can apply for the DCECE PE and PMM course groups. To apply for the PM course group candidates must have passed or are appearing in the 10+2 exam.

Q:   Do I need to send the printed DCECE application form to BSESEB?
A: 

No, candidates do not have to send the printed copy of the DCECE application form to the authorities. Candidates must keep the prints with themselves. Multiple copies of the complete application form should be printed as it will be required at different stages of the admission process.

Q:   I have submitted the DCECE application form, but there are some errors in it, can I correct it?
A: 

The DCECE application form correction window will be provided for the candidates who have completed the form and submitted the same within the deadline. The last date for form correction is will be notified later. Using the application form correction window, candidates can edit/correct the details in the submitted form, if required. This correction facility is a one-time opportunity. To make changes in the online submitted DCECE application form, candidates have to login to the official website.
