TS POLYCET Exam Date 2026 (OUT): Registration (Open), Admit Card, Result, Counselling

The SBTET Hyderabad has announced the TS POLYCET registration last date as April 20. Candidates can submit the forms by April 21 by paying a late fee of Rs 100. The tatkal registrations with Rs 300 late fee ends on April 22.

The category-wise TS POLYCET 2026 application fee is mentioned below.

• For General category - INR 500
• For SC/ST candidates - INR 250

Candidates who submit the application form during the late fee period have to pay extra INR 100. Candidates who apply online can make the payment using the online payment option. Candidates who are applying at the helpline centres have to pay at TS online in cash.

The minimum qualification to apply for the TS POLYCET exam is:

• Candidates should have passed SSC Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or another examinationrecognisedas equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, AP/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), Andhra PradeshOpen School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India.
• Candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.

To download the TS POLYCET hall ticket, go to the website- sbtete.telangana.gov.in. Log in with your application number and download the TS POLYCET admit card.

In case of error in the TS POLYCET admit card, candidates have to get it  corrected through the coordinating center immediately and get a revised admit card. No candidate will be allowed with incorrect data and photo on the TS POLYCET hall ticket to appear for the exam. Any tampering of Hall Ticket will automatically lead to the disqualification of the candidate.

Initially, The State Board of Technical Education and Training will release the TS POLYCET preliminary answer key at the official website. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against the TS POLYCET preliminary answer key. Based on the objections filed, subject matter experts at SBTET will draft a final answer key. TS POLYCET final answer key is released along with the results. Preliminary as well as final answer keys are available on the official website in a PDF format. No login credentials are required to check or download the answer keys.

No State Board of Technical Education and Training does not allow candidates to challenge the final TS POLYCET answer key. The challenge facility is only available for the TS POLYCET provisional answer key. The answers in the TS POLYCET final keys are the answers based on which the result is calculated and used for ranking and admissions.

TS POLYCET scores will be accepted by Government, Government-Aided, Private Un-Aided Polytechnics, and Polytechnics run in existing Private Un-Aided Engineering Colleges in Telangana State. Agriculture colleges that will accept TS POLYCET scores include Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) both University and affiliated Polytechnics in the Telangana State. Also, SRI KONDA LAXMAN TELANGANA STATE HORTICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (SKLTSHU) both University and affiliated Polytechnics in the Telangana State will accept TS POLYCET scores. P V Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU) in Telangana State will also accept TS POLYCET scores.

No. TS POLYCET result once released cannot be challenged for re-evaluation. Candidates are given a chance to challenge the provisional keys. Based on the challenges the final answer ey is released and the result is based on the final keys only. Therefore, the scores in the result of TS POLYCET is the final ones.

Once the TS POLYCET certificate verification process is completed, the Login Id will be sent to the candidates registered Mobile Number. Take the printout of Manual Option Entry Form from the website. Candidates are recommended to consult their guardians / parents and prepare Manual Option Entry Form as per their preference duly writing institution code, branch code and district code. This is for the convenience of the candidates and to avoid mistake and save time while entering web options. Refer the Manual Option Entry Form prepared by you and enter the options in the website. Candidates are advise to exercise options carefully in the order of priority. The order of priority of options is the important criteria in securing the seat. Candidates must practice as amny options as possible to secure their most preferred seats. Candidate can exercise and modify the options any number of times within the scheduled date. Finally, candidates must take sprint out of the options saved for preference.

The last date to register for the TS POLYCET counselling Round 2 was July 23, 2025. TS POLYCET counselling is held online. Admission is made based on options exercised by the candidates. Details of the web-based allotment program are available online on the official website. Note that the candidates have to appear for the online counselling process conducted by SBTET for admission to the Courses offered by SBTET. The counselling and admission to SKLTSHU, PVNRTVU, and PJTSAU will be conducted separately by the universities.
