KCET 2026 Exam Live Updates

KCET 2026 Live Updates: The exam body Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) is conducting the KCET exam for the 2026 sesion from April 22 onwards. The day 1 was limited to the Kannada Language Test, while April 23 and 24 will be dedicated to the main KCET subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology

As shared by Executive Director H. Prasanna in a video message, this year's exam is being attempted by approximately 3.3 lakh students.

The KCET will be conducted in offline OMR-based format and candidates will have to answer 60 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject (50 for Kannada Language Test), with each paper lasting 80 minutes. A major advantage for students is the lack of negative marking, allowing them to attempt all the questions without the fear of losing the marks.
