Scaler School of Technology Achieves 96.3% Internship Placement for Inaugural Batch
Scaler School of Technology reports a 96.3% internship placement for its first batch, with students placed at top firms like Apple Developer Academy, Zomato, Swiggy, 1MG, and Freecharge, both in India and abroad.
SST Internship Placement: Scaler School of Technology (SST) has reported a 96.3% internship placement rate for its inaugural batch (2023–27), as per its first Internship Placement Report audited by B2K Analytics, the same firm that audits reports for leading institutes like IIM Ahmedabad, XLRI, and MDI Gurgaon. With the process still ongoing, students have already secured roles across 96 organisations, spanning high-growth startups to global tech firms, with more offers expected.
The internship program is a core component of SST’s 4-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science and AI, which features a dedicated one-year industry immersion. This extended structure equips students with real-world experience early in their academic journey, ensuring they are workforce-ready from day one.
SST Internship Placement Companies and Stipend
Companies extending internship offers include leading names like Zomato, Swiggy, and 1MG, along with international organizations such as StashAway and Neurowyzer (Singapore), Apple Developer Academy (Indonesia), and Digital Product School (Germany). So far, a total of 232 internship offers have been made, with 36% of students receiving multiple offers underscoring strong industry interest in SST’s second-year cohort.
The highest monthly stipend offered was INR 2,00,070 (converted from SGD), while the overall average stood at INR 31,264. Notably, students in the top 10% secured an average monthly stipend of INR 92,000, highlighting the strong demand for top-tier, job-ready talent.
Nearly 50% of students securing internships came from non-computer science backgrounds, making this achievement even more notable. As second-year students in a 4-year program, their strong placements uncommon at this stage in Indian undergraduate education underscore the effectiveness of Scaler School of Technology’s applied learning model and industry-aligned approach.
Anshuman Singh, Co-founder and Dean at Scaler School of Technology said, “Internships or industry exposure are no longer an optional good-to-have. They are a necessity to bridge the gap between education and employment. This year’s results reflect a growing industry need for talent that’s not just academically trained but truly execution-ready. The strong industry response, including participation from global companies, reinforces our belief that when education is closely aligned with real-world expectations, it opens meaningful opportunities early in a student’s journey.”
