BML Munjal University (BMU) hosted the third edition of the Women in Leadership (WIL) Conference, themed "Power, Progress, and Possibilities." The event brought together a diverse group of leaders, experts, academicians, and emerging professionals to celebrate and empower women in leadership roles. In collaboration with the NHRDN Rewari-Alwar Chapter, the conference served as an inspiring platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue.
The conference started with a warm welcome from Swati Munjal, President of BML Munjal University, followed by opening remarks from Vice Chancellor Prof. Shyam Menon. Tanu Kashyap, Director General of NIFT, delivered an insightful keynote on leadership in a fast-changing world. A thought-provoking fireside chat with Mamta Saikia, Dr. Pratik Modi, and Dharm Rakshit explored the critical role of inclusive ecosystems in fostering meaningful change.
Speaking around the same, Swati Munjal, President, BML Munjal University, remarked, “At BML Munjal University, we see leadership not as a title but as a responsibility—one that calls for courage, empathy, and the will to uplift others. Women are not here to adapt to old leadership paradigms; we are here to reshape them. Through initiatives like the Women in Leadership program and Mera Business, we are nurturing changemakers not just for boardrooms, but for communities and grassroots as well. When women lead with authenticity, feminity and purpose, the impact extends far beyond organizations - it transforms societies, systems, and the future itself.”
Tanu Kashyap, Director General, National Institute of Fashion Technology, remarked, “True power stems not from authority, but from the possibilities we embrace. leadership is about providing direction and motivation to those we work with, creating an environment where people can thrive. Leadership is not about being at the top, but about the positive impact we can have on others along the way.”
