Candidates interested in IGNOU Admission 2021 for MBA programme must note that any candidate with minimum eligibility can apply for the course and take admission directly for the July 2021 session.

IGNOU MBA Admissions: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou) has decided to offer admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course without conducting an entrance examination this year. Candidates interested in IGNOU Admission 2021 for MBA programme must note that any candidate with minimum eligibility can apply for the course and take admission directly for the July 2021 session. The last date for admission into MBA courses is December 15. MBA programme offered by IGNOU has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Just like other MBA programmes, it is also of two years duration.

Talking about the conduct of classes for IGNOU MBA, Tripathy told TOI that the programme is designed by renowned management experts keeping the latest industry requirements and practices in mind. He further added that IGNOU is offering a course that is contemporary and is designed for both fresh graduates as well as working personnel.

In order to select eligible candidates, IGNOU has been conducting entrance tests for admission into the course. However, this year, the Open University has decided not to conduct this entrance test. While the varsity has not provided any reason, speculations suggest that the decision has been taken considering the COVID situation. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree of minimum of three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) are eligible for admission. Candidates can apply for the programme by visiting the official website of the varsity.
