Students who challenged NBE's decision to conduct the examination in two shifts requested the Supreme Court for an urgent hearing on this matter, citing that the intimation slip and the NEET PG admit card 2025 are scheduled to be issued shortly.

With nearly 20 days remaining for the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2025 examination, the demand for conducting the upcoming national-level postgraduate entrance test in a single shift without the normalisation process has once again escalated. Students across the country have shared their disappointment with the NEET PG exam in two shifts and the normalisation process followed to calculate results. Taking note of the plea, the Apex Court bench comprising CJI BR Gavai and Justice AG Masih has agreed to list the matter shortly, as reported by Live Law.

Meanwhile, doctors and postgraduate medical students have begun to express their desire for NEET PG single-shift on social media platforms. Medicos are expressing their thoughts on the topic on X (formerly Twitter), demanding "No normalisation, only single shift exam".

Meanwhile, another X user wrote, "I doubt that our health minister Shri J P Nadda even know the gravity and importance of NEET PG in the life of doctors It's not about qualifying and getting seat it's about getting a dream branch which u shall cherish life long Sir even 1 marks matters to us."

Recently, FAIMA has written to the NBEMS Executive Director requesting that the NEET PG 2025 exam shall be held in a single shift to promote fairness and transparency. As of now, there has been no favourable response from the authorities, the doctors are waiting for justice from the Supreme Court, where two petitions were filed seeking directives to the authorities to conduct the NEET PG exam in one shift.

NEET PG 2026 exam is expected to be held in August 2026. Candidates have to apply online to submit application form for NEET PG exam. Registration is mandatory to submit application for NEET PG. NBE will release dates and other crucial details such as application process, elligibility criteria, exam pattern etc along with the official brochure. The exam will be held in computer-based mode.

Yes. NBE has released the revised list of NEET PG 2025 cities post exam postponement. There are 233 test cities for NEET PG 2025 exam. The application window reopened to choose exam city from the list. The application window was open from June 13 to June 17, 2025. NEET PG exam centre 2025 were allotted with NEET PG 2025 admit card on July 31, 2025. Candidates must note the admit card has to be downloaded from the official website with login details. 

Q:   When will NBE allocate test city for NEET PG 2025?
A:

NBE released NEET PG 2025 test city allotment on July 21, 2025. Candidates have to declare preferences of test city while applying online for the exam. Candidates will get to know allotted test city throug city intimation slip. NBE had reopened application window to choose NEET PG 2025 city from June 13 to June 17, 2025. After test city slip, NEET PG 2025 admit card is released online. Candidates will find name and address of exact test centre in the admit card. The admit card has been uploaded on July 31, 2025.
