SSC Southern Region released the Constable General Duty (GD) 2021 application status on October 26. By checking the SSC GD 2021 application status, the candidates can know their exam date, shift time and exam centre. The SSC GD 2021 admit card will be released later. The application status also informs about the acceptance and rejection of the application. SSC GD 2021 Computer-Based Exam (CBE) will be conducted from November 16 to December 15 across the nation in online mode.

The candidates can check their SSC GD 2021 application status in the manner given below.

  • Visit the official regional website of SSC - http://www.sscsr.gov.in/  
  • Click on the floating link for SSC GD 2021 application status
  • Enter the registration number and date of birth
  • Alternatively, the SSC GD 2021 application status can be checked by entering the name of the candidate and date of birth
  • SSC GD 2021 application status will appear on the screen
  • Note down the SSC GD 2021 exam date, time and venue of the examination

Earlier, SSC Central Region released the application status. SSC GD 2021 exam was notified on July 17 and the exam syllabus and pattern were mentioned in the official advertisement. SSC GD Exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the post of Constable General Duty (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). CBE is conducted as per the syllabus notified in the SSC GD 2021 notification. The CBE is followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Standard Test (MST). SSC GD PST and PET are conducted by the CAPFs. The candidates who qualify the written exam and PET, PST and MST are called for Document Verification (DV). After DV, the candidates are appointed to the CAPFs based on their preference and the vacancies in their category.
