UGC NET December 2022: POWERGRID to use UGC NET Score to appoint HR trainees

UGC NET December 2023: The POWERGRID has announced that it will be using the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2022 score for the recruitment of HR trainees. All the candidates who are interested can now register by visiting the official website of POWERGRID; i.e. powergrid.in.

In order to apply candidates will have to appear in the December 2022 session of UGC NET in labour welfare, personnel management, industrial relations, labour and social welfare or human resources management and score at least 35 per cent marks in both the papers taken together.

Candidates must note that the POWERGRID will also be providing at least 35 per cent relaxation to the candidates who belongs to the reserved categories wherever vacancy is reserved. As per the POWERGRID website, "the online application window will only open after the issue of UGC NET admit cards as candidates will be required to provide their UGC NET December 2022 roll number details while applying for POWERGRID."

The POWERGRID selection process is done on the basis of the marks obtained in UGC NET December 2022, which will carry 85 per cent weightage, it is three per cent and 12 per cent for group discussion and personal interview rounds respectively.

A candidate's identification will be confirmed using their UGC NET December 2022 admission card and UGC NET score card if they are contacted for a group discussion and interview. Candidates will need to use their candidate login at the POWERGRID Online Application System to access information about their status.

Using the candidate login, shortlisted candidates can get their interview call letter and other pertinent papers. The documents stated in the interview call letter must be brought by the candidates who have been selected for the group discussion, behavioural assessment, and interview. To be eligible for empanelment, candidates must succeed in the personal interview.
