The application form for NEST 2020 has been released today, January 8 at 2:30 pm. Aspirants need to fill NEST 2020 application form online.

NEST 2020 Application Form Released Online

NEST 2020 application form is available on the official website of the science entrance exam. Earlier, authorities had shared that the application form for the exam would be released at 6:30 pm on January 7 but the 'Apply Now' link on the official website was showing error. Thereafter, a pop-up message was released on the NEST exam website that the application form for the exam will be released at 10 pm. However, the application link was still reflecting 404 error message. Thereafter, it was shared that NEST application form will be released at 2:30 pm on January 8, 2020.

Candidates can fill NEST application form 2020 online only. The entire application process for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) will be conducted online. Candidates need to ensure that they fill their application form for NEST 2020 latest by April 3.

NEST exam is conducted jointly by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. This national entrance exam is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in integrated MSc programmes offered in:

Steps to Fill NEST Application Form 2020

  1. Aspirants need to visit the official website of NEST 2020.
  2. Next, candidates need to click the ‘Apply Online’ link present on the official website.
  3. On clicking the link, candidates will be redirected to a new page which requires personal information such as name, date of birth, nationality, religion, parents’ names, etc.
  4. Further, the NEST application form will require candidates to fill their academic details such as name of the school/ university from where the candidate has passed, percentage scored, passing year, etc. The candidate will also have to select their NEST exam centre preferences.
  5. Once the information has been filled, the candidate will receive an email on the submitted registered ID with a link.
  6. Candidates will need to click on the link to confirm their registration and after the confirmation, candidates can log in to their accounts using their registered email ID and password.
  7. Once all the details are filled, candidates can click on the ‘Save’ button and proceed to the next page, which will show a newly generated application number which candidates need to save for future reference.
