The NEST 2026 admit card will be released on May 15, 2026. The exam authority will activate the NEST admit card download link on the website, nestexam.in. The admit card will be available for the registered candidates only. Candidates must provide their application number / login Id and password to download the admit card of NEST 2026 exam. The candidate's details, exam date & time, NEST exam centre, and a few important instructions will be mentioned in the admit card. Students must check all the details mentioned in the admit card and inform the exam authority in case of any discrepancy. Steps to Download NEST 2026 Admit Card

The link to download the admit card of NEST 2026 will be activated online. The registered candidates must keep the NEST admit card login credentials to access them easily. The instructions to download the NEST admit card 2026 are mentioned below:

  1. Go to the NEST website, i.e. https://www.nestexam.in/ 
  2. They need to click on the 'Download Admit Card' tab, and then they will be directed to the admit card login page.
  3. Enter NEST admit card login credentials (application number / user id and password).
  4. Now, click on the tab 'admit card'.
  5. Go through the information mentioned on the Hall Ticket, and then candidates will be able to download it.

After downloading the admit card of NEST 2026, candidates must take a printout on an A4-size sheet. Students must keep extra copies of the admit card as it will also be required during the seat allotment and counselling process of NEST

Q:   What to do If I forgot the password of the NEST exam admit card?

Applicants who have forgotten the login details of the NEST exam admit card should first check their mobile/email ID as after registration, a message comes from the authorities. 

Candidates can also recover the password of their NEST account by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' button at the bottom of the login window. Students who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and have completed the registration process can appear for the NEST 2026 exam. NEST 2026 eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

  • Passed 10+2 from a recognised board in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.
  • Have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology in Class 11 & 12.
  • Secured a minimum of 60% in aggregate or equivalent grade ( 55% for SC, ST, and Divyangjan categories).

Applicants are required to first check whether they are using the recommended browser or not for downloading the NEST 2026 admit card. Students need to enter their user ID & password, followed by entering the Captcha if mentioned on the login portal. After entering these details, the admit card will be opened in a new window. Now save the copy for future reference.

NEST 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates need to download the admit card 2-3 days before the NEST 2026 Exam date, and they should also keep 2 to 3 printouts. Here are some of the exam day instructions candidates must follow before appearing for the exam.  

  • Report to the allotted NEST exam centre 30 minutes before the reporting time.
  • Candidates must go through the exam session details on the admit card before the exam.
  • Carry an ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driver's License along with the admit card on the exam day.
  • Candidates must carry a blue or black pen.
  • Candidates are not allowed to write anything on the NEST admit card before entering the examination hall. 
  • Ensure not to wear any smartwatch or don't possess any electronic gadget in the exam hall. The candidature of applicants can be rejected at any point in time if any of these items are found with them.

No, NASM, Mumbai, requires candidates to pass Class 12 with atleast 45% aggregate in order to be eligibile for the offered UG programmes. A student who has just passed Class 10 must Pass Class 12 and apply for admission after results for Class 12 have been released.
