JENPAS UG 2026 Exam Pattern
Before appearing for the exam, it is important to memorise the exam pattern in order to remain in sync with what is expected from the aspirants. WBJEEB will release the JENPAS UG exam pattern for the BSc nursing and allied courses. The entrance will be conducted for a duration of 90 minutes. It will be an offline exam and will carry 100 objective-type questions. The question paper will be presented in both English and Bengali. There will be five sections, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Logical Reasoning. Each section will carry 20 questions. It will carry 115 total marks.
The JENPAS UG questions will be provided in both English and Bengali language (except Basic English and Logical Reasoning). Candidates will have to prepare for the exam accordingly.
As per the JENPAS UG tie-breaking formula, a candidate will not be ranked impartially. In case there is a tie between the exam scores of two aspirants, then the following rules have been established to break the tie:
Fewer negative marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry combined.
When Biology and Chemistry are combined, the results are more positive.
When Biology and Physics are combined, the results are more positive
When Biology and Chemistry are taken together, there are fewer negative marks.
When Biology and Physics are taken together, there are fewer negative marks.
JENPAS UG 2026 Admit Card
WBJEEB will issue the admit card around a week before the exam date. Candidates can download the JENPAS UG admit card from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug. A direct link to download the hall ticket will be provided here as well. It is a mandatory and important document that acts as an entry pass to the examination hall. Along with this, a valid photo ID proof approved by the government of India will also be required. Ensure that all the details mentioned on the admit card are in alignment with the particulars filled in the application form. Any mismatch in the information can lead to cancellation of the candidature.
JENPAS UG 2026 Last Minute Revision Tips
As and when the exam day approaches, exam jitters keep rising. The performance pressure to score a good rank lowers the confidence of the aspirants. A prudent move during this time is to revise the last-minute notes and avoid grasping hold of new concepts. Practice JENPAS UG previous year's question papers to understand the trend and difficulty level of the exam. Stay Calm.
As per the JENPAS UG exam day instructions, please avoid wearing wrist watches and excessive and heavy metal jewellery. Items such as calculators and digital gadgets are also not allowed inside. A water bottle with a transparent body can be carried along.

On the exam day, candidates are expected to reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. It would be recommended that exam takers present themselves in comfortable attire so as to avoid uneasiness and ensure enhanced focus on the aptitude test. JENPAS UG 2026 – What After the Exam?
After the exam concludes, WBJEEB will release the result within 10-15 days from the exam date, tentatively. A merit list will be released carrying the names of the candidates who have cleared the cutoff and have scored well in the exam. These candidates will be further called for JENPAS UG counselling.
