JENPAS UG is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). As per exam analysis conducted for previous year exams, it is a moderately difficult exam. A good preparation strategy will help candidates appear for exam without much difficulty. JENPAS UG is conducted for duration of 1.5 hours each for 2 papers (each carries 50 questions). Candidates need to answer Multiple Choice Questions and medium of exam is both in English and Bengali language.

JENPAS (UG)-2025 entrance test will consist of two papers namely, Paper-I (For all courses other than BHA) and Paper-II (For BHA only). Candidates will have to appear for both the exams.
JENPAS UG is an offline exam that carries Multiple Choice Questions (Objective-type), in which four options are provided in each question. The question paper is provided in both English and Bengali. Candidates are given 90 minutes to solve the paper. Each candidate gets 2 marks correct answer, and for each wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted.
In JENPAS UG exam there will be five sections namely, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning. In each section there will be 20 MCQs. Questions from the physics, chemistry, and biology section will be of 25 marks per section. Questions from English and LR will be of 20 marks per section. In all there will 100 questions of 115 marks.

All about the JENPAS UG Exam Pattern 2026
The JENPAS UG exam will have 100 objective-type questions. There will be four options against each question. The candidate will have to choose one correct option among the four choices. The UG level entrance exam will be conducted in pen and paper format (offline mode). A duration of 90 minutes (1.5 hours) will be allotted to attempt the exam.Â

JENPAS UG Marking Scheme 2026
As per the JENPAS UG marking scheme, a total of 115 marks will be divided among 100 questions. Further, there are two types of questions, Category I and Category II.
