JENPAS UG entrance exam comprises two papers of 50 questions each. It carries a total of 100 objective type Questions. As far as the marking scheme is concerned, for every correct answer, candidates will get 2 marks and for each wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. Candidates will be provided 90 minutes to solve the entire question paper.
In JENPAS UG entrance exam, there will be objective type questions. Candidates will be given MCQ-type questions with four options each. Out of the four options, only one option will be correct. In case the candidate choses the incorrect option, 0.25 mark (one-fourth mark) will be deducted.

JENPAS UG Exam Pattern and Syllabus
JENPAS UG exam pattern is simple and easy to understand. Candidates would be required to appear for Paper I and Paper II. Both papers will be 115 marks each. All the questions will be objective type (Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ)). There will be four options in each question, and one correct option must be chosen to attempt the answer. The question paper will be in both English and Bengali.
An OMR sheet will be provided to the candidate as the exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based). Candidates will have to circle the response to the questions by darkening the appropriate circle with a blue/black ink ballpoint pen.
Paper I: Topics from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning will be provided in the question paper. A total of 100 questions will be in the exam.
Paper II: Topics from subjects such as Physical Science, Mathematics, General knowledge, Basic English, and Logical reasoning will be provided in Paper II.
Marking Scheme: A Correct response will yield 1 (one) mark for each question. The incorrect response will yield -1/4 (25% negative) marks for each question.
