The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) provides placement opportunities for B.Sc. students, with the average placement package INR 1.80 LPA. SKUAST BSc (Hons) admission 2024 is entrance-based for the academic year 2024. For Free seats and Self Financing seats (State Domicile), admissions are through:

• Common Entrance Test through SKUAST-Jammu
• ICAR quota through All India Counselling by ICAR after CUET
• On the nomination of in-service candidates through state government (only free seats)
• VCI quota through NEET and based on the list provided by the VCI through their counselling portal

For Self-Financing seats under NRIs/ NRI Sponsored/ All India Basis/ Wards of Serving Employees Categories, admissions are through the University itself based on merit in SKUAST-J CET and marks obtained in Class 12 or equivalent examination.

Kashmir University admissions are primarily entrance-based. The university conducts KUET for admission to UG and PG courses. The university also accepts CMAT for MBA, GATE for MTech, GPAT for MPharm, GAT-B for MSc Biotechnology. The university also considers scores in UGAT, JEE Main, etc.
