At the postgraduate level, Annamalai University Chennai offers two to five-year MSc courses to the students. The fee for MSc ranges between INR 14,190 and INR 1.9 lakh. This amount is taken from official sources and can change.

Candidates have to fill out the application form online an submit it in offline mode. Aspirants can send the filled-in application form to the campus address via post. Candidates can also submit the form along with the specified documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC.

Annamalai University offers nearly 445 courses at UG, PG, doctoral, Diploma and certificate levels. The online/distance degrees offered by the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Annamalai University are valid. Previously, the University Grants Commission (UGC) did not approve its courses starting from 2015. However, Annamalai University DDE  received relief from the Madras High Court in an order dated 21.01.2023. Subsequently, following a reassessment by the UGC, Annamalai DDE achieved a qualifying score of 3.38, which led to extending the validity of its programmes until 2027.
