It is a superb college with great facilities.

Placements: About 85% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. The top recruiters of our course are Google, IBM and HP, and the top roles offered in our course are a senior developer and lead architect. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility in our college is awesome, and the labs are superb. Classrooms are clean, and the library is fully equipped with books. The hostel facility is average, and the food quality is meh in the main canteen. However, there are multiple canteens, so there is a variety of food items, and the food is also good. Our college has a sports ground, and there is a scope to perform many activities here. Overall, our college is amazing.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very kind, supportive and have patience. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. On average, students become industry-ready. The course is relevant, but the recent courses will be far better and help students to get industry-ready. Since it is an autonomous college now, and faculty members have the freedom to teach the latest courses.

Fergusson is indeed one of the best colleges for Science and arts stream.

Placements: Around 70 companies visit the campus for placements. Every student gets placed in a company. Hence the college assures 100% placement. Top MNC's like Harbinger, Cognizant, TCS, Deloitte etc. visit the college campus. Preplacement lectures arranged for cracking such important interviews.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent. The college has vast grounds for every sport. Trees everywhere hence students can rest for some time. Every department has a different building and well managed and security provided for the students.

Faculty: The college provides all the courses in Science and Arts. Major categories from these courses are language, physics, chemistry, maths, comp science, geology, psychology, animation, zoology. Every department has a Bachelor and Masters degree courses. As the college is autonomous, quality study stuff included in the syllabus, which is new. Almost every faculty has above ten years of experience.

Other: College is infamous for its annual events held in the last week of December month. Every student is very much interested and excited for these events. College provides various scholarships for students.

What will be the cutoff for Fergusson for MCs admission?

The cutoff for admission in Fergusson college would require Bachelors degree in Science with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board and you would have to clear the College entrance test

Yes, you can pursue MSc Computer Science which requires pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent. Choose a college with care. You can go for a PhD so the university needs to provide some academic research facilities too.
