College campus is very good.

Placements: I had a bad experience of placement in aptitude test. I performed well, but after that, the company didn't contact me back. But still, 70% students in our batch got jobs. But more students selected in government sectors. College does not have a separate placement cell for internship; they did not give any internship to anyone. Mounten Geology is the top recruiting company, package offered is 5 LPA on an average.

Infrastructure: I had a bad experience of placement in aptitude test. I performed well, but after that, the company didn't contact me back. But still, 70% students in our batch got jobs. But more students selected in government sectors. College does not have a separate placement cell for internship; they did not give any internship to anyone. Mounten Geology is the top recruiting company, package offered is 5 LPA on an average.

Faculty: We have dedicated faculty members that are always ready to help us. Being an autonomous college, we designed our syllabus as per market requirements that fill the gap between us and industries. Visits are organized at various sites for the study of earth. We have exams every three months; 80% students pass in our batch.

Other: After my Bachelor's degree in Geology, I want to pursue my Master's in Geology and as well as want to prepare for government exams.

M.Sc. Geology review of Fergusson college.

Placements: Very few students opted for this course; all other students are busy with MBA and engineering but we have excellent placement; more than 80% of students got placement. The average package is 3 LPA and the highest is 18 LPA. Hiring companies are Martin Oil and Chevron; they provide the roles of geologist and geoscientist.

Infrastructure: FC Road is one of the most attractive places in Pune. Here, you get all the facilities & essentials. The college campus has the best free internet, e-library, projector, and library; all things are available in college. Hostel rooms are good but the beds and chairs are all old, and the canteen food and facilities are good. For medical purposes, only first aid kits are provided in college and for safety, fire extinguishers and alarms are provided.

Faculty: We have 8–9 faculty members for our course, all of whom are doctorate and masters-qualified in geology. In this course, we have to study about earthly internal things and processes, which makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult; our class passing percentage is 85% but scoring is tough.

Best College For M.Sc. in Pune.

Placements: The placement record of the college is excellent. Very good companies visit here to hire students in every field, not only in the core sector but also in the non-core sector. More than 80% of the students get placed in our batch. The highest salary package was around 18 LPA, and the average package was around 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Annual fest is the main big fest organized by the college every year. The campus is so big and beautiful. The best thing about the hostels is that they are within walking distance from the college, so you do not have to take tension about going to classes. Mess food quality is superb. Wi-Fi is provided to us for our further studies.

Faculty: I chose this subject because it is a very interesting field that explains the Earth's interior. There are almost 8 faculty members in our department, and all of them are highly qualified and excellent in their respective fields. There are mainly 2 exams in a year, and both of the exams are difficult to pass.

All the faculty are very talented.

Placements: Placement is awesome with the top companies that come to the college and again, it depends on our performance and the way you prepare for the interview. Placements are very good in our college; a lot of reputed big companies come to our college each year and students can get up to INR 200000 per year in packages and more. My plan after getting my degree is to start my own company.

Infrastructure: Hostel admission is totally based on merit. Hostel facilities are good, maybe not for those who are looking for AC and all. Rooms have a single bed and a double bed. Single beds are allotted to the Fy and Sy students and double bedrooms are allotted to the final-year students. There are two hostels just near the hostels that give unlimited meals for 2875 per month. Apart from hostels, there are PG rooms near colleges, especially for girls on lower rent. Hostel Fee: INR 33250 per year.

Faculty: All the courses at the post-graduation level in college are driven. We had to submit a dissertation in the final semester. There are a total of four semesters. There is one internal exam before every semester. The examination structure might have changed. Every year known companies visit MCC during placements, to name a few Honeywell, PWC, Delloite, Infosys, Ernst &Young, etc. Class size;-66 The course costs INR 15000 per year.
