Mere getting degree will not get you jobs. You have to write exams and qualify yourselves as aeronautical engineer the you will get jobs. In India Directorate aviation gives this vertical.
EASA verification is a must to become an aeronautical engineer. There is huge demand. To write EASA exam you need so much hours of practical experience which is not available in India.Shanon Aerospace in Ireland provide this. there are very limited seat and limited opportunity in flight engineering. Though its good to opt. But if you need to go for aviation sector then Go with the Aeronautical Engineering. it will give you an Vast exposure to your carrer. Now For Duration you need to check out google. Anshul, you can join 2nd year of aeronautical engineering, as syllabus for 1st year of all the branches is same only.
For admission some colleges/ universities accept candidates through lateral entry scheme. You have to appear for Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET). You must have min.of 60% marks in diploma to appear for LEET.
If you have not given LEET too, then opt for good private universities like LPU, MIT, IIIT, DBU, etc. They offer world class environment to students along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites.
