Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is a five years undergraduate program which can be started after 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. This course is designed to produce licensed and professional architects who are authorized to do private constructions and government constructions.
Average fees for this course in government colleges ranges from Rs. 1.5 Lakhs to 2.5 Lakhs and in private institutes it ranges from approx. Rs. 2.5 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs. After the successful completion of this course the students can pursue their career in architecture sector with the average salary range between Rs. 2.5 to Rs. 4.5 LPA.
The students can get admission in B. Arch. by appearing in NATA entrance exam which is conducted by Council of Architecture every year and qualifying examination from a recognized university or board. There are various colleges which are taking admission of students through this entrance exam.

Most of the architecture colleges in India offer education in architecture at the undergraduate level and students with mathematics at +2 level are preferred. Duration of the graduate course is 5-years.
1) Minimum 50% marks (45% aggregate for reserved category) in 10+2 examination or equivalent with mathematics as subjects, or
2) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks, or
3) International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
Passing of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. A Higher score in NATA increases chances of admission in known university or institutes, however, minimum 40% marks in NATA is expected by most universities or institutes.
