SPA Delhi Highlights 2025
School of Planning and Architecture was established in 1941. This deemed to be university also goes by the name of SPA Delhi. Under an Act of Parliament, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, the Institute is recognised as an 'Institution of National Importance'. Formerly established as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic, SPA New Delhi is accredited by COA and is approved by MHRD.
Many courses offered at SPA Delhi are approved by the Indian Institute of Architects, Council of Architecture, and Commonwealth Association of Architecture. The Institute has several collaborations with institutions such as SPA-Vijayawada, SPA-Bhopal, and Dr BR Ambedkar University of Delhi (AUD).

In order to get admission to the SPA Delhi BPlan programme, candidates must meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. As per official sources, candidates who have passed Class 12 with a 50% aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply for the programme. School of Planning and Architecture is conveniently accessible via different modes of transportation. New Delhi Railway Station about 4.7 km from the institute. The School maintains two libraries on both Planning and Architecture campuses. The Library of the School plays an important role in the documentation and dissemination of knowledge and information in the areas of planning and architecture allied fields. The Library of the School has been acting as a crucial resource centre to meet the information needs of its clientele, including students, teaching faculty, staff members of the School, research scholars, students from India and abroad and other visiting faculty and users. The library is equipped with computer facilities and electronic facilities such as online resources to support the teaching, learning and research activities of the School.
SPA Delhi campus is spread over 20 acres of land and has two libraries in both Planning and Architecture campuses. The library has journals, e-journals, and a large collection of books. The deemed to be university also has a cafeteria and a large auditorium. The library is equipped with computer facilities and electronic facilities such as online resources to support the teaching, learning, and research activities of the school. The campus also has a material testing lab, IQAC, and also has material testing labs. School of Planning and Architecture Delhi has separate hostels for boys and girls alike. School of Planning and Architecture Delhi hostels enable students to feel at home in an unfamiliar place.

The Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture B.Arch fees is yet to be revealed for the 2026 session. In 2025, the total tuition fee was INR 9.6 Lacs and the ETS/CAS fees was INR 40,000. Candidates are required to pay the ETS/CAS fees as admission fees during the end of the admission process.
