Canada's international business management has better scope as compared to MBA in supply chain management. The strong factor for this is that Canada is not a big gun in export, import and manufacturing operations. The large scale industries are very less in that nation. So in my opinion you should take international business and should stay back in Canada for 1 year and then migrate to other nation with high salary package.

Dear Twinkle,
If you are willing to make career in PGDIBM, then I would say that be cautious and dedicated about yourself. Take admission in a college which has global reputation and be consistent throughout your studies and you don't need to worry at all for the scope of this course. You can find several rewarding jobs after completing PGD in international business programs. You can work as: International HR manager, Economist (policy maker for company), International trade specialist, Import compliance specialist and much more.

Dear Tushar,
It's indeed a great and valid question. To clear you, there is no particular answer for this question because it all depends upon to university to which you are applying. Ideally, family business is counted as your experience but you need to specify your job profile, working responsibility, salary and remuneration.
Most importantly, you need to give LoRs from your seniors and you must have to justify them that how this 'family business experience' helps you to gain the practical exposure of what you have learn in classroom and yes, good GMAT score (750+) will helps you in this journey.

Hi Nandagopan Suresh, generally for PGDM work experience is not required but if you have work experience then its a plus point. It is too late for Sept 2018 intake, check the college website and ask them if they are still accepting applications for Sept 2018. Otherwise start preparing for Jan 2019.

Hi Tushar Agarwal, without work experience admission into a MBA programme is difficult unless you are very bright. Also you can get admission in some low ranked university. If your academic scores are very good plus you have a very high GMAT score alongwith strong SOP and LORs you can still be accepted by business schools.
