COEP indeed admits students based on lateral admission procedure. However this college is invariably on the top of students preference. As a result, the percentage required is of high order. As you are from open category, you need to score at least 90% in your Diploma.

I would say that you should aim for at least 80 and above percentile for getting admission in this course.
