Hey,   LPU has many clubs related to sports, technology, business, culture, music, dance, and social work. Joining a student organisation helps you make new friends, learn new skills, and enjoy campus life beyond studies

As an LPU student, the joining organisation process is very easy. Attend the Club introduction at the start of the semester. Be attentive and check the information or any updates regarding the organisation. Fill out the form for the organisation. Sometimes, a few clubs also take an interview, and after all this process, you will become a member and can start participating

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology or Thapar University is one of India's well-established private engineering institutes. For a B.Tech it is a very famous college with strong placements, infrastructure & good faculty. Large IT firms (TCS, Infosys, Cognizant), product companies (Microsoft, Amazon, etc.) and core-sector employers (L&T, Bosch) participate. Startups and internships are common.

According to reviews on Shiksha ( Karanbir Singh,  B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2021), the placement of this college was one of the best among the private colleges. The main companies for recruiting were TCS, Tata Motors, Microsoft, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, etc. The roles that were offered were production engineer, design engineer, quality engineer, etc. The campus provided smart classrooms to all the department students with A/C. Mechanical labs were highly advanced, and the CAD labs were also good and tidy. Faculty members of my branch were highly qualified. Overall, Thapar university has got good reviews

Yes, Lovely Professional University (LPU) puts a really strong focus on practical exposure for its Journalism and Mass Communication students. They realize that you can't learn media just by reading textbooks, so they have set up the curriculum to be very hands-on right from the start.

Instead of just sitting in lecture halls, you spend a lot of time in their high-tech, industry-grade labs. LPU has its own professional television studio, sound recording setups, and advanced editing bays equipped with the same software the pros use. They also run their own campus media outlets, including an online news portal, a radio station, and a TV c

Pursuing BBA LL.B. (Hons.) at Lovely Professional University, yeah, can be a pretty good move, if you're the type who cares about corporate law, business law, compliance stuff, legal consultancy, and also management oriented kind of legal careers. This programme sort of mixes law subjects with business and management studies, so you end up covering things like Company Law, Corporate Governance, Financial Management and Commercial Law, kind of in a combined way. LPU's law stream is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the School of Law is mentioned among notable law institutions in India.

Also, the university doesn't jus

Yes, you can apply for the BCA program at Lovely Professional University as long as you satisfy the eligibility criteria, which usually ask for 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 along with a valid qualifying score through LPUNEST, JEE Main, or CUET, based on the specific admission route you choose.

About the last date, LPU typically runs admissions in several phases like Schedule I, II, III, IV ,and more, and the process keeps going until the available seats are filled. So the actual closing date keeps shifting depending on the phase and also on the program availability, therefore there isn't one single fixed “last date” that fits

Yes, Lovely Professional University is pretty much considered a good place for CSE, especially if you are hunting for better placement odds, some genuine industry exposure, modern specializations, and a coding ecosystem that feels alive. Their program gives you a lot of avenues like hackathons, internships , industry certifications, live projects, and regular recruiter visits from names like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Accenture. Even though the campus has a big student crowd, the students who actually stay on track—coding, taking up projects, going for internships and building skills steadily—usually end up with s

Yes, you still have a good chance of getting admission to Lovely Professional University even if you did not qualify JEE Main , it kinda depends on your overall profile though. Since you scored 82% in Class 12, you already have a pretty strong academic standing, and LPU also takes admissions through LPUNEST, not just through JEE Main. For most B.Tech programs, the university typically asks for around 60% in 10+2, with Physics, Mathematics, and English included, plus you need to qualify LPUNEST or JEE Main. So yeah, your Class 12 marks really help, and LPUNEST can be a solid route.

Yes, Lovely Professional University can be a decent option for B.Tech CSE even if you couldn't qualify for JEE Main. LPU has its own entrance test, LPUNEST, through which students are able to get admission plus scholarships, so it's kind of a helpful route. The university is also quite known for its CSE courses, an industry friendly curriculum, and that coding culture, plus hackathons, internships, and placements. Recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Accenture often show up, which makes it feel more practical. Overall, LPU is frequently seen as one of the stronger picks for CSE, even when the JEE path didn't wor
