Candidates will be asked to submit following documents during application stage of GNDU, Amritsar BTech admission process:
- Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and marksheet
- ID and address proof
- JEE Main scorecard
- Passport sized photographs
- Transfer / Migration certificate
- Domicile certificate
Original copies of these documents will also be required during document verification.

Candidates who apply for BTech at GNDU, Amritsar must appear in JEE Mains to qualify for admissions. However, for BTech in Food Technology, Textile Processing Technology and Computer Engineering, GNDU, Amritsar conducts its own joint entrance exam to select candidates.

Yes, Mathematics is a mandatory subject as per eligibility criteria of BTech at GNDU, Amritsar. But, BTech in Food Technology and Textile Processing Technology eligibility criteria does not require Maths as a mandaotry subject.
These courses also accept admissions from candidates who have passed Class 12th in PCB stream.

For CSE, the better choice depends on budget and long term value. If paying a very high fee creates pressure, then LPU can be a practical option because the curriculum is regularly updated, coding culture is improving, and industry exposure through internships, hackathons, and placement training is quite active. VIT Vellore has a stronger overall reputation, but many students still choose LPU for affordable education with decent career opportunities and skill-based learning.

Yes, Punjabi University, Patiala does offer a BCom course to applicants in academic year 2026. BCom course is only offered as a general BCom course however, it is available as an integrated course mode with MCom for five years.

Punjabi University, Patiala BCom admissions are not based on CUET-UG. Candidates are only evaluated based on in house entrance exam conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala for BCom admissions.
During personal interviews, only scores of this exam will be used to ask questions.

No, Punjabi University, Patiala are not decided based on NEET-UG score. Punjabi University, Patiala has only mentioned accepting scores of its ownin-house entrance exam to select candidates for BPharm courses.
Thus, candidates with a valid NEET-UG score will still need to appear in this entrance exam for BPharm admissions.

Selection for MPharm course is done on GPAT score basis. BPharm admissions are conducted based on an in-house entrance exam from Punjabi University, Patiala.

Yes, Punjabi University, Patiala does offer BPharm courses in academic year 2026. This is a four year course offered by Department of Medicine in Pharmaceutical and Drug research specialisation. Admissions to this course are entrance based.
