Yes, there is a fee reduction if you clear LPUNEST at Lovely Professional University. From what I've seen, your score in the entrance exam decides the scholarship slab, so better marks = more fee concession.
Apart from that, you can also get scholarship based on your graduation marks or other categories. Compared to many universities, LPU gives multiple chances to reduce fees, so it's definitely worth attempting the entrance.

Dear reader,
Taking admission at LPU is a great choice.
Indeed, that is feasible. You can apply through LPUNEST, which LPU administers as its own entrance and scholarship exam, since your B.Com. score of 57% satisfies the 55% requirement. Admission without CAT/MAT results is possible if the LPUNEST is successfully completed, followed by a video essay and interview.
For more information kindly contact their concerned department.
I hope this information helps.

Admission to animation courses at LPU is generally based on 10+2 or graduation marks plus performance in LPUNEST or other recognised design‑focused entrance tests, depending on the level of the programme. The curriculum is structured to blend creative fundamentals with advanced 2D–3D animation, VFX, and motion‑graphics work, using industry‑standard tools and live projects. This mix helps students build strong portfolios and practical skills, which supports better industry fit and career outcomes after graduation.

Yes, students from a commerce background can apply for animation programmes at LPU. The basic eligibility is passing 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate and English, regardless of stream—Science, Commerce or Arts. LPU focuses on creative aptitude and practical skills more than specific subjects, so commerce students with interest in animation, design and visual storytelling can fit well. The curriculum is industry‑oriented, with projects, software training and exposure to current animation workflows, which helps students build a strong portfolio and career pathway after graduation.
