The State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM) in Indore, India has a good reputation for placements for its Diploma in Food Production program. The college offers 100% placements in campus interviews.Almost 70% of the students got placed in companies like McDonald's, Burman Hospitality, Bikano, Absolute Barbecue, etc. Only retail companies come to our college, and only one or two hotels come on the campus. The highest salary package offered is 3.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA.

If you want to become a Chef after 12th, then you should think of pursuing Culinary Arts course, like Diploma in Hotel Management or BHM with culinary arts specialisation, or BSc in Hospitality Management.
