Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University offers BCom, BCA and BA at the UG level. At the PG level, the distance-learning institute offers programmes such as MA, MSc, MCom, MCA, MBA, B.Lib.I.Sc, M.Lib.I.Sc, MA in Mass Communication (MAMC), B.Ed, M.Ed, LLM and MA in Environmental Education (MAEE). Other than these, the institute also offers UG diploma, PG Diploma and certificate programmes.

The registration mode of admission to all the programmes of Directorate of Distance Education KUK is online and offline. To rgister online candidates must visit the official website of KUK DDE and follow the steps as follows:
Step 1: Click on 'Admission' locted on the menu bar of the Home page.
Step 2: You will be directed to KUK DDE admission page.
Step 3: Now click on 'Admission for Part-1 only (New Students)' link available on the page.
Step 4: Registration page will open. Where two online form will be available: 'New Applicant Registration' and 'Already Registered Applicant.'

The School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University offer UG and PG courses in distance mode. Its distance courses are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Hence, the awarded degree is valid and accepted in India and abroad. Candidates seeking admission to any of these courses can visit the university's official website (sde.b-u.ac.in) to apply. No, aspirants of distance MCA in Madras University do not need to take an entrance exam. Admission to this course is purely merit-based. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements, which is BCA or equivalent degree from a recognised university can apply. To apply for this course, candidates need to visit the Institute of Distance Education, UNOM, official website (ideunom.ac.in). Candidates must submit the applications within the due date or it is treated as invalid.
