Hi,
The answer is a big no. It's not worth at all to pursue Master's degree in jewellery designing from distance learning in India and it is not only about India, you just can't go for a distance learning jewellery designing course. These are the reasons why I am saying no:
1. It is a practical course, so how will you manage to learn through distance when it's meant to be a regular course.
2. None of the good and reputed colleges of India offer a distance jewellery designing Master's degree.
3. Even if some colleges offer a distance programme then jewellery designing is a field where you need to practice on regular bases. So, it doesn't ma

After completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering programme, one may go for Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering. In most Degree Engineering colleges, certain percentages of seats are reserved for Diploma certificate holders. This entry is known as the lateral entry. B.TECH DISTANCE EDUCATION:-
Duration: B.tech is a Bachelor course, it needs 4 years time to be completed.
Eligibility: 10+2 level intermediate. Most of the colleges also accept 3 years Diploma as the eligibility criteria. They get lateral entry to the direct 2nd year in B.Tech courses.

Hi Shejil, not all distance education degrees are recognised for further education abroad. Universities abroad you are applying to may ask for an evaluation or there can be other criteria. But if you can your primary degree should be a full time one. You can keep earning part time degrees via distance mode for additional credential.
