As there is no common counselling for GATE admission to different institutions is done through COAP. The tentative date for the commencement of the admission process will be announced by the authorities. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) is a national-level exam conducted to choose engineers for M.Tech admissions at IITs, NITs, and IIITs, as well as for PSU recruitment. The GATE 2024 notification will be released soon, and along with it, IISc Bangalore will also release the information brochure in which the syllabus, exam pattern, etc. Will be updated. IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE 2024 was IISc Bangalore. The exam was conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Candidates had to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). The GATE 2024 syllabus is based on General Aptitude and Core Discipline, carrying a weightage of 15% and 85% respectively. Check more about GATE 2024 exam here.

The JEE Main 2023 cutoff for GFTIs will be released by the JoSAA after the counselling is over. Candidates can check previous year JEE Main cutoff for GFTIs from the Shiksha page. The cutoff for GFTIs vary for various branches and also category of students. Specialised branches like computer Science and electronics engineering has higher cutoff in comparison to other branches. Similarly, JEE Main cutoff for general category candidates is higher in comparison to OBC-NCL and SC/ST candidates. Admission cutoff for JEE Main 2023 will be released by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). NTA only releases the JEE Main qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced which has already been released along with the session 2 result. The admission cutoff will be released online on the JoSAA 2023 portal josaa. nic. in and will be available round-wise for all participating institutes and branches as per the schedule.

JEE Main 2023 cutoff has been released by the NTA. Candidates can check the cutoff from the Shiksha page. NTA released the cutoff in the form of percentile scores. The details about JEE Main cutoff are given here

WBJEE 2023 question paper is divided into two sections - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). Each paper is of 2 hours duration. While attempting the examination, the candidates will have to answer 75 questions from Paper 1 (Mathematics) and 80 questions from Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). Yes. Candidates will be able to attempt WBJEE in Bengali. The authorities provide two language options to the candidates for the examination. The candidates can either opt to attempt WBJEE in English or Bengali. The question booklet will be available in both languages at the examination centres so the candidates will just have to let the invigilator know their preference. There will be no difference in the question pattern between the two languages. No other medium of language will be used for WBJEE.
