• The highest salary package for CSE students ( off campus) is INR 65 LPA, the highest salary package is INR 14 LPA (on-campus).
• The average salary package is INR 8 LPA.

You may go for IIIT Kottayam if you want to have a good programming skills. Curriculum wise IIIT Kottayam follows that of IIIT Hyderabad which is best in India.2019 was the first year when IIIT Kottayam saw its first placement. Institute had good companies coming forward to recruit them. Some of them where NISSAN, L&T, Reliance (JIO) and many more startups.Anyway, it all ends up at what you really want and how good you want it, are you willing to put the effort given any circumstances. It is unlikely that you will get a seat in any of the NITs, IITs or GFTIs with a CRL rank of 196580 and an EWS rank of 31691. The cutoff ranks for these institutes are typically much lower than your current rank. However, there are a few factors that could improve your chances of admission.

* *Your caste/category:* If you belong to a reserved category, you will have a higher chance of getting a seat than if you are from a general category.

* *Your performance in JEE Advanced:* If you perform well in JEE Advanced, you may be eligible for a seat in an IIT or NIT through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) counseling.

* *The number of seats available:* The number of seats available in NITs, IITs and GFTIs will depend on the number of students who apply for admission. If there are fewer applicants, the cutoffs will be lower.

If you are not able to get a seat in any of the NITs, IITs or GFTIs, you could still consider applying to other good engineering colleges in India. There are a number of good colleges with good placement records, and you may be able to get a seat with your current JEE Main score.
