Hello Jai Prakash, you have asked a very good question indeed. Let me try to answer this year National testing agency will be conducting JEE Mains examination 4 times in the months of February March April and May. A student has the choice of appearing either for 1 or 2 or 3 or all four sets of examinations. After the end of all these sets of examination NDA will be announcing the cutoffs based on the principle of Best Out of four. I hope I have answered your query. Best wishes to you.

Hello Pritam, it's very nice to hear from you that last year you were able to register yourself for appearing in JEE Advanced examination. This indicates that amongst the top two and half Lacs students of JEE Mains. But I am afraid your ranking and your efforts of JEE Mains last year do not carry forward to current academic year. You will be again required to appear for JEE Mains and also be in the top two and half Lacs students to be able to register for JEE Advanced once again. Best wishes to you.

Hello GS Veditha, it's very nice to hear from you that you have obtained almost 88 percentile in your attempt in February in JEE Mains. It's however difficult to state whether you can get admission in a good NIT or CFTI with this percentile since 3 more attempts are available for students for JEE Mains. National testing agency will be announcing rankings of the students after completion of all 46 of examinations admissions to different institutes as well as eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced will be declared only at that time. Hello AYUSH yes, a student needs to register only once on the website of NTA for JEE Mains. However, if you have applied to appear in all possible attempts and paid the required fees, then you have to do nothing. Registration is open only for those who did not register in the beginning. However, if you had opted to pay fees and opted to appear only for the February examination then you need to skip the registration part and pay fees for the March attempt along with selecting the exam center etc. Best wishes to you.
