The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

  • For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. 

  • BTech and MTech Biotechnology's minimum qualifying mark is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. 

  • For MTech courses, B.E or BTech or any equivalent specialisation in a relevant engineering and technolog

To participate in the GATE counselling, candidates must qualify for the GATE exam. The GATE scorecard is valid for three years. Candidates must also have a CGPA of 6.5 or 60% in their graduation from a recognised university/board. On the other hand, candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD candidates must have a minimum of 6 CGPA or 55% in graduation.

The GATE cutoff for NITs and IITs can differ depending on the institute where admission is required. The cutoff marks will be released for multiple rounds. Candidates are advised to check the GATE CCMT dates stay updated.

The GATE cutoff is the minimum mark required for a candidate to score inorder to get qualified in the exam. The GATE cutoff will be different for each branch/discipline. . The cutoff score varies every year and is determined based on factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and available seats.

The GATE 2026 result will be declared on March 19 (as per the GATE information brochure 2026). Candidates can check their results at GATE candidate login using their enrollment ID and password. The GATE results determines the qualifying status for the counselling.

Candidates who have qualified for the GATE exam will be eligible to download the scorecard. To do so, candidates must provide their GATE enrollment ID and password at the GOAPs portal. The GATE scorecard is valid for three years.

Candidates will not be provided with a hard copy of the GATE scorecard. However, they can download it by logging into the GOAPS portal. The GATE 2026 scorecard will be available for free download from March 27, 2026, to May 31, 2026. Afterwards, candidates can download the GATE scorecard by paying INR 500 from June 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
