Candidates need to complete BTech with at least 50% aggregate to apply for LIT Lucknow M.Tech course. Additionally, admission to M.Tech course will be based on GATE score. LIT offers M.Tech in two specialisations, namely Computer Science and Civil Engineering.

Its very difficult to get into government college with these ranks. But you can take admission in good private colleges with clearing of entrance exams, but they will have very high fees.

Its not possible to get any government engineering college with 8 Lacs JEE rank. But as of colleges, there are -
- Oriental University
- Medi Cpas University
- SGSITS
- IIT Indore
- IIST
- SIMS
- MIST
- MIT
- Sushila Devi Bansal College
- Chameli Devi Group of Colleges, etc.

A minimum of 60% aggregate shall be the cut-off mark setting for screening the applications. Those who have appeared for the final examinations may also apply. However, they need to secure 60% marks in aggregate.
