Its true Indian government has provided many seats and scholarships for Kashmir students through PMSSS (Prime minister special scholarship scheme ) this scheme was started during congress tenure in 2011 In this scheme students can get any professional course or Non professional course college just on 12th merit basis. Government colleges like IITs, NITs, are excellent for CS and also have comparatively low fees. You can also try for DTU, Jamia Milia, or state level colleges, like under AKTU, MHT CET. Also, scoring good marks in JEE Mains, can low down your fees in state level colleges.

Minimum 60-70 percent score is required in PCM in board to apply engineering course in Thapar because the cutoff goes above 60%.

In VIT Vellore offers internships and placements as campus placements, where all the renowned companies offer an average package more than 5 lacs PA. But this is only in the case with CS IT, EEE, MCA etc. Not in the case of Biomedical or Biotechnology. Very few biomedical core companies come for campus placements that too not every year.

No, it is not possible to get NIT's or IIT's for CSE branch on 93 percentile because cutoff for CSE branch goes to very high something 95+ percentile above, but to take very good others 2-tier colleges on behalf of this percentile.
