To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 candidates must secure more than or equal to the category-wise cutoff of JEE Main 2022. Only those candidates who meet JEE Main qualifying cutoffs will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced for admission to IITs in India. Infrastructure:

There were 40 questions in this section. There were two Reading Comprehension passages with almost 4-5 questions following each passage. There were questions on Fill in the Blanks, Idioms, Error Spotting, Antonyms and Synonyms. The difficulty level of this section was moderate.
