Southern Illinois University Edwardsville admission requirements for international students include English proficiency exam score requirements. However, there are other ways in which overseas applicants can meet the SIUE language requirements and they are:

• A degree from a primarily English-speaking country; OR
• Standardized test scores; OR
• Successful completion of the SIUE Intensive English Pathway program; OR

Students are eligible for the SIUE Intensive English Pathway programme if they meet the following score requirements:

• TOEFL: 5.0 (no band below 5.5);
• TOEFL: 45;
• ACT: English Test: 80.

International students who are seeking admission at The University of Law for Law programmes are required to qualify IELTS exam with a band of no less than 6.5.
