Yes Definitely IGNOU degree allowed for government exams. However everyone not get selected in government jobs so this degree also valid for Private Sector jobs also. IGNOU degree worth for them who need them. Its not for everyone. You have to be very disciplined and sincere during these times. IGNOU exams are actually much harder than other private colleges. You get all material but you have to go through your own. You have to keep a keen interest in subject because there is no one to motivate you in your journey of IGNOU study.

For IGNOU B.Ed candidate must have graduation degree with minimum 2 years teaching experience.

The students must fulfil the following criterion to get admission to this program.
They must have secured 50 per cent marks in UG degree.
A candidate must have work experience.Candidates must have a complete NCTE acknowledged Teacher Education program.
