IGNOU admission 2026 is closed for January session. The July 2026 session will begin soon. Aspirants can apply on the official website of IGNOU for the preferred course once the application portal open.

The tuition fee for BSc, PB BSc and BSc (Hons) range from INR 10,500 to INR 43,500 depending on different specialisations available across both the courses. From the academic Year 2022, New Education Scheme is launched, in which after completing 1 year in Graduation You will get a Certificate of completing 1 year, And after 2nd year You will get a Diploma in the Graduation, And for the Degree you have to complete the 3 years and you can also get a research degree after 4th year. Yes, Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts its classes in its study centres, under the guidance of regional centres. However, IGNOU doesn't run any classes in the main campus. When a student registers for a course in IGNOU the student picks a Study Centre and a Regional Centre according to their choice. The books are obtained from the selected study centre. Also, IGNOU offers a facility called IGNOU Online' which gives its students an opportunity to study online for programmes and courses which are not available in the area where they live in.

Indira Gandhi National Open University MCom tuition fee ranges between INR 7,000 and INR 18,000. Candidates have to pay the required course fee amount at the time of admission for enrollment. In case a candidate misses the deadline for IGNOU registration, he or she can write mail or contact the admission office for assistance. In case nothing can be done, he or she then needs to register in the next cycle. IGNOU conducts admission in two cycles-January and June. Admission to most of the courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. In case of courses such as B.Ed, PhD and PB BSc Nursing, admissions are offered based on entrance exam scores.

IGNOU results for PhD admission are out on the official website of the institute. Candidates who have at least 50% aggregate in the entrance test (45% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ OBC (Non Creamy layers)/ Differently abled persons) are shortlisted for the interview subject to the maximum limit of five times of the available seats.
