IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2026 has been released for round 1 regarding admission to the MSc course. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for various All India categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 closing ranks ranged from 392 to 417, wherein M.Sc. in Chemistry turned out to be the most competitive MSc course branch.

IIT Gandhinagar accepts JEE Advanced scores to offer BTech and BTech Integrated courses to the candidates belonging to All India quotas. Candidates were selected for the counselling rounds based on their ranks as per the IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2023. While considering General AI category last-round cutoff, the needed rank stood between 1555 and 12299. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the required rank stood between 571 and 4974. As per the IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2023, for General category under All India, opening rank was 1534 and closing rank was 1555. Cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the cutoff released by the institute was 516 and 571 for opening and closing ranks, respectively. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories acquiring a rank of 2000 can get BTech in Chemical Engineering, BTech in Civil Engineering, and BTech + M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering under SC AI quota, however, at 2000 rank, candidates belonging to ST AI quota won't get admission to any of the course available at IIT Gandhinagar.
