Yes, you can admission at IIT Gandhinagar with a JEE Advanced rank of 10000 if you belong to the General AI category. For this category, the round 1 closing cutoff ranged from 2144 to 11173. Therefore, a few BTech course branches might be available for admission.

The IIT Gandhinagar JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 has been released for round 1 for various BTech course branches. The cutoff was out for different Al India categories.

See the table below to know which courses can be availed with a rank of 10000 in the first round for the General AI category.

IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the MSc course and its branches based on the students' performance in the IIT JAM entrance examination. The cutoff has been released for round 1 among various All India quota candidates. 

For the General AI category, the highest cutoff was for the M.Sc. in Mathematics course, with the cutoff being 417. Students can refer to the table below to know the IIT Gandhinagar category-wise cutoff 2025

IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2026 has been released for round 1 regarding admission to the MSc course. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for various All India categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 closing ranks ranged from 392 to 417, wherein M.Sc. in Chemistry turned out to be the most competitive MSc course branch. 

To know the cutoff range for other All India categories, candidates can refer to the table below.

Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories acquiring a rank of 700 can get admission to various BTech courses under SC and ST AI quota. IIT Gandhinagar accepts JEE Advanced scores to offer BTech and BTech Integrated courses to the candidates belonging to All India quotas. Candidates were selected for the counselling rounds based on their ranks as per the IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2023. While considering General AI category last-round cutoff, the needed rank stood between 1555 and 12299. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the required rank stood between 571 and 4974. As per the IIT Gandhinagar cutoff 2023, for General category under All India, opening rank was 1534 and closing rank was 1555. Cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the cutoff released by the institute was 516 and 571 for opening and closing ranks, respectively. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories acquiring a rank of 2000 can get BTech in Chemical Engineering, BTech in Civil Engineering, and BTech + M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering under SC AI quota, however, at 2000 rank, candidates belonging to ST AI quota won't get admission to any of the course available at IIT Gandhinagar.

While analysing the increase in the competition, candidates need to put extra effort to reach ahead of the competiton, the IIT Gandhinagar JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 for OBC category stood between 750 and 4653 for the All India quota. Going as per the trends, the decrease in the cutoff ranks alarming candidates to work hard and prepare dedicatedly and consistently for the exam.
