As per information gathered from the official JOSAA website, i.e. josaa.admissions.nic.in/ the total seats for the four-year BTech programme at IIT Gandhinagar are 420. This intake is inclusive of the Gender Neutral and Female-only (including Supernumerary) pools and is inclusive of all student categories, such as Open, Open-PwD, GEN-EWS, GEN-EWS-PwD, SC, SC-PWD, ST and ST-PWD, among others. 

 Candidates seeking admission to BTech at IIT Gandhinagar are expected to qualify both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and further go through JoSAA counselling to secure admission. However, getting final admission only on the basis of JEE Main score, is not possible. In addition, to be eligible for the BTech programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate.
