The basic eligibility criteria to apply for M.Sc in Mathematics is Class 12 with a minimum aggregate set by the college and the accepted entrance exam is IIT JAM. MSc degree is offered in various specialisations like Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Cognitive Science. Application to MSc courses at IIT Gandhinagar usually begins in December. After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main.
