IHM Lucknow and IHM Chandigarh both accept the scores of NCHMT JEE for admissions to BSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost similar for both institutions, as the first requirement is that candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with English, then they must appear for NCHMT JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute is easier to get admission into for a BSc course.

The IHM Lucknow BSc course is a three-year full-time BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The entrance to the course is through National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE). Candidates should have cleared Class 12 with English as compulsory subject to apply.
