IHM Lucknow and IHM Chandigarh both accept the scores of NCHMT JEE for admissions to BSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost similar for both institutions, as the first requirement is that candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with English, then they must appear for NCHMT JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute is easier to get admission into for a BSc course.
However, the institutes can be compared on their closing ranks for the academic batch. For the last round, the cutoff for the AY 2025 for admissions to the BSc HHA course is mentioned below:

As per the cutoff list, the closing rank for BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration was 3740 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. The IHM Lucknow BSc course is a three-year full-time BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The entrance to the course is through National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE). Candidates should have cleared Class 12 with English as compulsory subject to apply. Candidates who clear the entrance exam must take part in counseling and seat allotment session in order to secure admission.

IIHM Lucknow offers MSc courses in only one specialisations i.e., Hospitality and Hotel Administartion. To get admission into this course, candidates must complete their bachelor's degree in hotel management stream from a recognised university or AICTE-approved institute. Additionally, for admission, the institute accepts NCHMCT MSc JEE scores + NCHMCT counselling. To get admissions into MSc, candidates must complete the basic eligibility criteria, then appear for the entrance exam, followed by a counselling process.

Yes, according to the information available on the official website of the institute, students are obliged to pay their MSc course fee on an annual basis. This means candidates can break out the total fee into two installments and can pay the first instalment for semesters one and two and another installment for the third and fourth semesters.
