Candidates need to take the NTA-conducted JEE Main exam before applying for admission to the B.Tech program.Through the Centralized Counseling for Engineering Admissions (CCEA) process, admissions are made based on JEE Main ranks.
The standard minimum JEE Main percentile needed for VJTI Mumbai is between 60 and 65 percentile.For general candidates, this corresponds to a JEE Main score of approximately 90+ marks out of 300.
Seats are allocated during the counselling process according to the candidate's preferences, JEE Main rankings, and seat availability.
In addition to JEE Main scores, candidates need to fulfill the educational requirements and grade point averages set by VJTI Mumbai.Following seat assignment, applicants must finish the admissions process within the allotted time frame by submitting their documentation and paying the required fees.

For students from Andhra Pradesh/Telangana:

• Most B.Tech specializations: JEE is not required for admission through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET,  which is the mandatory entrance exam for B.Tech programs for these states. Minimum qualifying marks in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET vary depending on the category (General,  SC,  ST,  etc.) and competition for specific specialties.
• Certain newer B.Tech specializations: Some newer specialties like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning or Data Science might additionally require scores from JEE Main and/or Advanced alongside Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for admission.

For students from other states:

• Eligibility: While Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is the primary exam for Andhra Pradesh/Telangana students,  candidates from other states can also try for B.Tech admission at SKU through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET,  depending on seat availability.
• JEE scores: Whether JEE scores are considered for students from other states depends on the specific B.Tech specialisation and seat availability. In some cases,  JEE scores might be used for ranking along with Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or if seats remain unfilled after Andhra Pradesh EAMCET admissions.

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was founded by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006 and is recognised under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Came into existence in 2006, the University was formerly known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, (1987-2006). The university was accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is a member of various professional bodies such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), International Road Federation (IRF) and Indian Road Congress (IRC), among others.DCRUST offers UG, PG, and PhD courses.

The selection process for B.Tech at DCRUST is based on the score obtained in the JEE Main examination. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology are eligible to apply. The minimum JEE score required at DCRUST varies depending on the category and the branch of engineering. 

DCRUST Murthal offers admissions to its courses based on the entrance examination and merit. For DCRUST Murthal admissions, candidates have to appear at the entrance examination for the course required. After qualifying for the entrance examination candidates are required to appear for the counselling process. To get admission to these courses, candidates have to first check whether they fit into the eligibility criteria. After that, they must apply for the course through the official website of the college. Candidates can download the form from the official website of the college and fill out all the required information. Candidates then must submit the application form along with the application fee.

PG,  Entrance/Merit,  Based on the marks scored in graduation and entrance examinations like GATE for M.Tech and CAT/MAT/CMAT for MBA.

Doctoral,  Entrance,  Based on marks scored in the entrance examination and personal interview.

DCRUST Sonepat JEE Mains cut off 2023 for BTech was concluded after Round 8 of the Seat Allotment Result. According to the DCRUST Sonepat BTech cut-off 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering stood at 139698 and 139698, respectively for the General All India category students. For the Home State category students, DCRUST Sonepat cutoff 2023 for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering for Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 87562 and 87562 respectively.

The cutoff marks for B.Tech at DCRUST vary depending on the course, category, and mode of admission. There are two modes of admission for B.Tech at DCRUST: HSTES and JEE-Main.

JEE is not explicitly required for B.Tech at SRM Valliammai Engineering College. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at the college include passing 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
