No formal verbatim in favor of JoSAA reducing eligibility cut-off percentages for B.Arch. courses for the OBC category in 2025. The current eligibility criteria stand at 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or amongst the top 20 percentile of the board along with qualifying in JEE Main Paper 2.

Relaxation for the OBC category is applicable only for those seats that are reserved with rank-based cut-offs. There is no relaxation regarding aggregate marks. Trends since 2019 do not provide much scope for change in eligibility. Especially, changes in the eligibility criteria will require clearance from the MHRD

JEE Advanced is the national-level exam which is widely conducted by IITs to admit students for the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. To get into IIT Bhubaneswar through JoSAA counselling, It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates should apply for JoSAA counselling only if they fulfill all the conditions of eligibility. However, many institutes admit students on the basis of JEE Main where there is no requirement of minimum marks in class 12.

Through JOSAA counseling you received admission at IIETS Shibpur campus where your qualification and the prescribed cutoff levels match with your category along with your PWD standing and board exam results. Most engineering colleges need at least 60% board marks for admission acceptance as your score exceeds this requirement threshold. Students who identify as PWD receive improved cutoff qualification through additional points between 5 and 10 percent that increases their opportunity to secure a seat. Your profile demonstrates competence in the competitive range for your preferred branch in accordance with previous admission cutoff ra

Admission to IITs via JoSAA counseling requires your state SC certificate which was issued by NCT Delhi. For admission through JoSAA candidates from the SC background must present an authentic caste certificate which was issued by authorized bodies of their state or union territory. The certificate released by authorities in NCT Delhi Union Territory will be recognised because it operates as a union territory. The certificate upload for online registration will be followed by original certificate presentation during document verification. As a student belonging to the SC category you can apply for the 15% reserved seats at IITs.

Admission to IIST is solely through the IIST Online Admission Portal (admission.iist.ac.in). Candidates wishing to apply for admission must register online on the portal. IIST does not participate in JoSAA counselling.
