If there are issues with your JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) documents, several problems may arise:
- Verification Issues: Your documents may require verification for authenticity and eligibility. Discrepancies could lead to delays or denial of your admission.
- Eligibility Concerns: If your documents do not meet the eligibility criteria, you may be disqualified from the seat allocation process.
- Communication Delays: JoSAA authorities may contact you for clarification, which could slow down your admission process.
- Loss of Seat Allocation: In extreme cases, unresolved issues could result in the cancellation of your allocated seat, requ

You can update your nationality in the JoSAA portal from foreign national to Indian. Once the nationality status is changed, you will be eligible for seats in IITs under the GEN category only. If you have already been allocated a seat, it will be cancelled, and you will be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds (if any) under the OPEN category, provided you -
- submit proof of Indian nationality, and
- meet all other eligibility criteria for Indian nationals, including satisfying the JEE (Main) cut-off marks for qualifying for JEE (Advanced) in the GEN category.

You can update your nationality in the JoSAA portal from Indian to OCI/PIO card holder. After making this change, you will be eligible for seats in IITs under the GEN or GEN-PwD category only. If your currently allocated seat is not under the OPEN or OPEN-PwD category, it will be CANCELLED. You will then be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds (if any) under the OPEN category, provided you -
- submit proof of a valid OCI/PIO card (issued before 04.03.2021).
- meet all other eligibility criteria for qualifying for JEE (Advanced) in the GEN or GEN-PwD category.

If you do not have a valid UDID card indicating permanent disability and are seeking a seat in IITs through JoSAA, you must visit any of the IITs for physical verification, bringing a copy of your PwD certificate.

To accept a seat in JoSAA, log in to the JoSAA portal and view your seat allotment result. If you are satisfied with the allocated seat, proceed to accept it by paying the required seat acceptance fee online. Additionally, you may need to upload necessary documents for verification, depending on the institute's requirements.

The CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) Special Round counseling provides a chance to students who did not get a seat in JoSAA counseling. Students who registered for JoSAA counseling need not pay any further fee to join CSAB Special Round. The registration fee amount is INR 2,100 for general category students and INR 1,050 for SC/ST/PwD category students although unregistered applicants must pay the fee in case they did not participate in JoSAA counseling. CSAB Special Round serves to occupy open seats in NITs as well as IIITs and GFTIs.

Securing admission to the most coveted branches of top-tier IITs may be difficult if you have a SC category rank of 2800 in JEE Advanced because their cutoffs for SC candidates are usually substantially lower You might however have prospects in less-demanded disciplines or at more recent IITs.
For example, in the final round of seat distribution in 2024 the SC category closing ranks at IIT Bombay reached 3,506. This implies that some branches may have higher closing ranks even when elite branches like computer Science and engineering have far lower cutoffs.

Yes, you may opt for JoSAA Counseling 2024 but only if your compartment exam result comes out to be successful within the last date of document verification. JoSAA needs to pass Class 12th examination with mandatory subjects for the eligibility of admission. As your Maths paper is conducted on July 15, be sure to publish the result in advance of the final deadline set by JoSAA for admissions. You do not usually need to provide a health issue letter, but you should have a passing certificate during admission. Continuously check the JoSAA official website for any updates on deadlines and document verification.

You must apply through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process in order to be admitted to Walchand College based on your JEE Mains result. JoSAA which oversees seat distribution in NITs, IITs and other government financed institutions, includes Walchand College of Engineering as a participating institution. Participants must choose their chosen institutes and courses during the JoSAA counseling procedure, which is based on your JEE Mains rank. JoSAA is the best option for national-level counseling based solely on JEE Mains, but the CET CELL (Common Entrance Test Cell) may be useful if you're applying for a state

Candidates who wish to take part in JoSAA 2024 counseling for B.Tech admissions must fulfill certain academic requirements. Students in the general category must receive at least 75% of the possible points in their Class 12 exam or place in the top 20% of their individual boards. The minimum score for candidates who are SC, ST or PwD is 65% overall Your 12th grade score of 55% indicates that you do not meet these requirements. To improve your grades you can think about taking improvement tests or looking into other engineering schools with different admissions standards Verifying the precise eligibility requirements of any institution
