If you are getting the same branch in COEP and NSIT, then you can choose any one which is close to your home. COEP has got a pretty good reputation and so does NSIT. In terms of city, Pune is much cleaner and safe for girls as compared to Delhi. But the fact that Delhi has got better engineering colleges which are competing with NSIT like DTU, IIIT D offsets the city advantage that Pune has over Delhi. I must say that NIT Raipur is better than IIIT Naya Raipur in all aspects. First of all the former college is older. It has better infrastructure, hostel facilities, location, academic performance, and the most important aspect is placements.

If you are not allotted a seat in the first round of JoSAA you do not need to reapply or submit a separate application form for the second round of counselling. Once you have registered for JoSAA your application remains valid for all subsequent rounds of counselling. You will automatically be considered for seat allocation in the following rounds, including the second round. It's important to keep track of the seat allocation results and participate actively in subsequent rounds to maximize your chances of securing a seat in your desired institute and course.

Use the JEE Advanced password to register in such a case so your details are captured. Anyway, the registration form does ask for all such details so you won't miss out. You should read the instructions and carefully enter all the details asked in the registration form. The preferred choice of course and institute has to be filled while filling the application form.
