DCRUST Sonepat Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Updates, Eligibility, Admission Process

Students willing to submit their application for admission at DCRUST can do so online. Students must note that the application fee can be paid in online mode only via State Bank Collect. The University will not accept any mode of payment. For general category students who are applying for admission at DCRUST are required to pay INR 1000 as an application fee. Students from a reserved category, who are willing to apply for admission at DCRUST Sonepat are required to pay INR 250. The application fee for counselling for BTech and BArch courses at DCRUST Sonepat is INR 1000.

Admissions to DCRUST are both merit-based and entrance-based. Students seeking admission to undergraduate courses except for B.Tech are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in class 12 from a recognised board. Admissions to B.Tech courses at DCRUST Soepat are done through JEE Mains. Students seeking admission to BTech at DCRUST are required to qualify JEE Mains with a valid score followed by counselling sessions. Students seeking admission to DCRUST for postgraduate courses are required to have at least 50% in graduation from a recognised college/university. Admissions to some of the postgraduate courses at DCRUST are done on the basis of national-level entrance exam scores such as CAT, CMAT, GATE, NATA, and others.

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was founded by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006 and is recognised under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Came into existence in 2006, the University was formerly known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, (1987-2006). The university was accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is a member of various professional bodies such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), International Road Federation (IRF) and Indian Road Congress (IRC), among others.DCRUST offers UG, PG, and PhD courses.

DCRUST M.Tech eligibility criteria 2023 for a candidate are:

• A candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks in B.E or B.E. Tech or M.Sc or MCA in relevant subjects and 47.50% marks for SC/ Physically Handicapped.
• The candidate must have qualified for the entrance examination conducted by the university or GATE examination.

B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2023

DCRUST B.Ed eligibility criteria 2023 for a candidate are:

• A candidate with a minimum of 50% marks and 47.5% in case, the candidate is from SC or ST or Blind or Visually and Differently Abled of Haryana only either in the Bachelor Degree and/ or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanity.
• A candidate with a Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks and 52.25% in the case of SC or ST or Blind or Visually and Differently abled of Haryana only or any other equivalent qualification. 

So, according to that, you can get into DCRUST with 70% in class 12th.

Yes, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) does offers mutiple scholarships. The schoalrships are as follows:

Scholarship 1: M.Vishvesvariya Scholarship

i) B.E./BTech/BArch course
ii) Upto INR 40,000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less.
iii)Topper of each branch in each Institute.

Scholarship 2: Sir M.Vishvesvariya Scholarship
i) MBA course.
ii) Upto INR 25,000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less.
iii)Topper of each Institute.

Scholarship 3

Arya Bhatta Research Scholarship:
i) M.Tech.
ii) Upto INR 40,000/- per student per annum or actual tuition fee which ever is less Plus INR 5000/- per month for contingency and Boarding and Lodging.
iii) The candidate should have valid GATE Score. If sufficient no. of such candidates are not available then others shall be considered who shall be evaluated by the committee.

Scholarship 4 Merit Scholarship:
Merit Scholarship at the rate of INR. 600/- per semester to 10% top students of each discipline on the basis of University examination Result will be given.

According to the DCRUST Sonepat BTech cut-off 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering stood at 139698 and 139698, respectively for the General All India category students. DCRUST Sonepat offers Barch from four different schools which include a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from DCRUST - Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from Gateway College of Architecture and Design, Gateway Education, Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from PM College of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from South Point School of Architecture. The total tuition fee of BArch varies. While BArch from DCRUST and Gateway College of Architecture and Design has a total tuition fee of INR 80,000 and INR 3.4 Lacs respectively, the tuition fee of BArch by PM College of Architecture and by South Point School of Architecture is INR 2.2 Lakh.
