Hi Ashish,
You can try doing your B.Tech through lateral entry from good colleges like DTU, JMI, MIT Manipal (Karnataka), and NSEC Kolkata. These are top institutions of engineering which will give you enough exposure and learning to become a good electrical engineer and help you land up in any good core electrical company.
BITS does not have lateral entry.

Hi Atharva,
The separate rounds for lateral entries will start once your results are declared. You need to have scored a very good percentage to get into VIT Pune for computer engineering.
