As per the internet sources, there is no seat at DTU to choose B.Tech CSE through lateral entry. I don't know the exact reason behind this, but the truth is that there are no seats available for B.Tech in CSE through lateral entry.

There is a possibility, so just try your luck in the counselling process. Wish you good luck.

VIT University does not offer lateral entry admissions. The admissions are based on the ranks in the VITEEE examination. I think SRM University has lateral entry admissions. So, you may refer their website www.srmuniv.ac.in or contact the admin.

Yes, VIT, Mumbai has a lateral entry admission. The eligibility conditions are:
(I) The Candidate should be an Indian National
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent. Yeah, you can, but your have too qualifying the entrance exam for lateral entry in 2018, then you are eligible for lateral entry according to your rank.
